What are the rules for the deposit?
Deposit is non-refundable. If you provide at least 14 days notice you may apply your deposit to any available date or time within the next two months. Any party cancelled with less than 14 days will forfeit their deposit. We will work with you on rain delays and do not count that as a cancellation.
How much space do I need?
My general answer is approximately the size of a tennis court, but there are a lot of factors that come into play. If you have a large group (greater than 12 people), you would want to increase the size of the field from this default. Also, if you have minimal walls or obstacles to hide behind in a close area, you would want to have a larger area.
But here is the good news. We have made battlefields work in so many different size homes and neighborhoods. If you have gates on both sides of your back yard, we can play front yard versus back yard. This greatly reduces the space requirements. You can join with your neighbors and play across multiple front yards. In cul-de-sacs, we can play across the common area and front yards. A lot of neighborhoods have common areas or parks that are open to its residence to have events like ours. Also, there are a number of great parks in the Maryland area that are perfect for our game.
Whether you live in an apartment or a 500 acre spread, we can provide laser tag to you. Looking to save money? Combine parties with other parents and share the costs! Some parents do that with us and we always treat our birthday persons special. We can split the payments at the event for your convenience.
Where are you located? I want to come by and see the place.
We are a mobile system and do not have a set battlefield. We are based out of Catonsville MD, but set up a battlefield in a location of your choosing. This can be at your home or business, local park, youth group camp, or many other locations. We have set up in many areas around Maryland and have probably had a battle somewhere near you.
When do you arrive?
Depending on the type of event you reserve, we will be there 30 minutes to 1 hour before the planned start time. For our base event and smaller setups, 30 minutes is all we need. If we run into traffic or other delays, our Event Manager will call you with an update. Please ensure your contact information is correct for the day of the event. Maryland traffic isn't perfect, but we strive to be on time. If we are late, we will add that time to the end of the event.
How do Summer Camps Work
During our Summer Camp season, we will come to your Summer Camp and run events for 2, 4 or 8 hour. These events can include laser tag along with our Game Truck.
I live outside the Baltimore County area, will you drive to me?
Yes, but we do charge a mileage charge outside our standard Baltimore County area. For the most accurate quote on mileage, you can give us a call. Our online booking slots are set up assuming that you are in the Baltimore County area so please give us a call before booking online. This ensures that we have enough time in between events to get to our next location.
I need teambuilding! My office is constantly snapping at each other and we need some release. What do you do for teambuilding?
Laser Tag is a TEAM sport. We don't talk about individual scores and single accomplishments. Teams are given objectives and they must work together to accomplish those objectives. We can even cater to areas that your office might need work. Sometimes communication is a big issue within teams. I know you might not believe me, but it happens. With large battlefields, we can create scenarios that requires the team to work together, create a plan and communicate as the battle changes. Sometimes just the simple act of getting out there and playing the game is all that is needed.
I made a deposit, what happens if it rains?
We will work with you on a replacement date for the event. Our equipment can handle light rain/mist, but usually our soldiers like to stay dry. There is usually a 2 - 3 day warning when weather is looking bad. If you start to have concerns, get in touch with us and we can work to come up with the solution. Typical Maryland weather, rain can move in and out quickly.
Can we play indoors?We have a gym at our Church/School.
We have done several indoor events for youth groups. Such events require the larger inflatables to create an indoor battlefield, but a basketball court is easily a large enough area to have a good battle. We have done overnight lock-ins with school and church youth groups.
Our school is looking for a fundraiser and wants to know if you can help?
We get this request OFTEN! We can offer a non-profit discount if someone would like to sponsor an event for giveaway at a silent auction, etc. We can also set up at the fundraising event. We are a tremendous attention-getter for any fundraiser or event. We can set up a large battlefield, people take notice and will stop to find out more details.
